Rhinoplasty

Rhinoplasty surgery, also known as a “nose job,” is a surgical procedure to reshape or reconstruct the nose. It is a type of cosmetic surgery that can alter the size, shape, and proportions of the nose, as well as improve its function.

The surgery may be performed for several reasons, including to correct a crooked or misshapen nose, to reduce the size of a large nose, to improve breathing problems or to address structural issues caused by trauma or injury.

During the rhinoplasty surgery, the surgeon makes incisions in the nose, then reshapes the bone and cartilage to achieve the desired look. The incisions are typically made inside the nostrils, but in some cases, a small incision may be made on the outside of the nose.

After the surgery, patients may experience some bruising and swelling, which can take several weeks to subside. It’s important to follow the surgeon’s post-operative instructions to ensure proper healing and minimize the risk of complications.
