Eyebrow Transplant

Natural-Looking Brows Begin With Direction, Angle and Proportion
Eyebrow transplantation moves suitable hair follicles from a donor area, usually the scalp, to areas of the eyebrow where greater density or coverage is desired. The procedure is not only about adding hair: the shape, direction, angle and distribution of each graft influence how natural the final eyebrow can appear.
At Estexper, eyebrow design is planned individually according to your facial proportions, existing eyebrow hair, areas of thinning, donor hair characteristics and your preferred shape. The final treatment plan is confirmed after clinical assessment.
Eyebrow Transplant Before & After
Existing eyebrow density, facial proportions, donor hair and healing differ between patients. These photographs show individual outcomes and should not be interpreted as a guarantee of a particular result.

Density Is Only One Part of Eyebrow Design
Eyebrow transplantation may be considered for naturally sparse eyebrows, areas of reduced density or selected areas where eyebrow hair has been lost. Planning should take account of both the existing brow and the surrounding facial features.
Density Grafts may be placed in selected sparse areas to increase visible eyebrow density when suitable donor follicles are available. | Shape & Proportion The proposed eyebrow outline is planned in relation to your existing brows, facial proportions and realistic donor-hair limitations. | Selected Hair Loss Some patients consider transplantation after thinning, over-plucking, trauma or other causes of eyebrow loss, but suitability depends on the underlying cause and clinical assessment. |
Send clear photographs of your eyebrows and relevant medical information for an initial assessment. Your existing eyebrow pattern and donor area can be reviewed before travel.
Natural Results Depend on More Than Graft Numbers
Eyebrow hair changes direction across different parts of the brow. For that reason, graft distribution, angle, orientation and spacing are important parts of planning, together with the characteristics of the donor hair.
Eyebrow Design The planned brow is discussed before transplantation, taking into account your existing eyebrow line, facial features and preferred appearance. | Donor Hair Selection Suitable follicles are selected from the donor area with attention to hair characteristics and the requirements of the eyebrow region. |
Angle & Direction Placement angle and hair direction are planned carefully because eyebrow hairs normally lie much closer to the skin than scalp hair. | International Coordination Airport transfers, accommodation, treatment scheduling and the practical stages of your stay in Istanbul are coordinated around your treatment plan. |

A transplanted eyebrow should be planned around the hair that is already present. Density, outline and graft direction are adjusted according to the starting pattern rather than applying one identical eyebrow design to every patient.

What’s Included
Some transplanted hairs commonly shed during the early period after eyebrow transplantation. New growth develops gradually from surviving follicles, which means the final appearance cannot be judged immediately after the procedure.

Growth Happens Gradually
Redness, swelling, small crusts and temporary sensitivity can occur around the treated area during early recovery. Avoid picking or scratching the grafts and follow the washing and care instructions given by your treatment team.
Transplanted hairs may shed before new hair begins to grow. Visible new growth develops gradually over the following months, so patience is required when assessing the result.
Transplanted Scalp Hair Can Continue to Grow
Because transplanted follicles commonly originate from scalp hair, the new eyebrow hairs may retain growth characteristics of the donor area and can grow longer than natural eyebrow hairs.
Regular trimming and grooming may therefore become part of long-term eyebrow care. Your team can explain how and when to begin trimming after the transplanted area has healed.
Graft Survival, Direction and Healing Should Be Discussed Before Treatment
Potential risks and limitations can include bleeding, infection, swelling, bruising, scarring, altered sensation, folliculitis, uneven density, an unnatural direction or appearance, and failure of some transplanted grafts to grow. Further treatment may occasionally be considered depending on healing, graft survival and the desired density.
Frequently Asked Questions
Where does the transplanted eyebrow hair come from?
Suitable follicles are generally taken from a donor area of the scalp and transferred to the eyebrow region. The donor area and individual follicles are selected according to the treatment plan.
Why are graft angle and direction important?
Natural eyebrow hairs emerge at shallow angles and change direction across different areas of the brow. Careful placement is therefore important for the transplanted hairs to integrate naturally with the existing eyebrow.
Will the transplanted hairs fall out?
Temporary shedding of transplanted hairs can occur after the procedure. New hair growth then develops gradually from follicles that have established successfully in the recipient area.
When will I see new eyebrow growth?
Hair growth is gradual rather than immediate. New growth may begin over the following weeks and months, while the appearance continues to develop as more transplanted follicles enter their growth cycle.
Will I need to trim transplanted eyebrow hairs?
Often, yes. Scalp-derived hair can continue to grow longer than natural eyebrow hair, so regular trimming may be needed once the area has healed and your treatment team says grooming is appropriate.
How long do I need to stay in Istanbul?
The current Estexper Eyebrow Transplant package includes two nights of accommodation. Your individual travel and follow-up plan is confirmed by the treatment team.
Can I receive an assessment before travelling?
Yes. You can provide clear eyebrow and donor-area photographs together with relevant medical information for an initial review. The definitive eyebrow design and treatment plan are confirmed after clinical assessment.
