ARM LIFT IN ISTANBUL

A More Defined Upper Arm Contour Starts With Your Skin

Arm lift surgery in Turkey, also called brachioplasty, removes excess upper arm skin and can reduce localised fat. It may be considered when loose, hanging skin remains after weight loss or age-related changes and cannot be addressed by fat removal alone.

At Estexper, planning begins with an individual assessment of your arms, health and expectations. Your surgeon discusses the proposed skin removal, whether liposuction is appropriate, the expected scar and the recovery support you will need.

REAL PATIENT RESULTS

Arm Lift Before & After

These photographs illustrate individual changes in upper arm contour. Starting skin laxity, fat distribution, surgical technique and healing differ between patients; the same outcome cannot be promised.

WHAT AN ARM LIFT CAN ADDRESS

Skin Laxity and Fat Require Different Approaches

Brachioplasty focuses on excess skin along the upper arms. Your examination helps distinguish loose skin from localised fat and determines whether an arm lift, liposuction or a combined approach may suit your goals.

Loose Upper Arm Skin
Skin removal can reduce hanging tissue between the underarm and elbow. The extent of treatment depends on where the excess skin is located.
Upper Arm Contour
The remaining tissues are reshaped to create a smoother contour. Natural differences between your arms may remain after surgery.
Changes After Weight Loss
An arm lift may be considered when weight loss leaves persistent upper arm skin excess. A stable weight and appropriate health assessment support planning.
Important: Liposuction removes fat but does not remove hanging skin. An arm lift involves a permanent scar; the balance between contour improvement and scar length should be discussed before you decide.

START WITH YOUR OWN ARMS
The best approach depends on how much loose skin you have.

Send recent photographs and relevant medical information for an initial assessment. Your enquiry helps the team discuss the next steps before travel; the final surgical plan requires examination by your surgeon.

YOUR JOURNEY WITH ESTEXPER

Your Skin Determines the Surgical Plan

Skin excess, fat distribution, tissue quality and the position of the underarm all influence treatment. Your surgeon explains the proposed incision and whether fat reduction can be incorporated without making assumptions from photographs alone.

Medical Review
Your health history, previous surgery, medications, smoking or nicotine use and any conditions affecting healing are reviewed before treatment.
Skin Removal & Fat Reduction
The plan distinguishes skin laxity from excess fat. Liposuction may be included when appropriate, but its scope must be confirmed in your individual quotation.
Incision & Scar Planning
Incisions may run along the inner or back of the upper arm and can extend towards the elbow. More limited incisions suit selected cases; the location and length depend on the skin to be removed.
International Coordination
Your planned stay includes one hospital night and five hotel nights. Consultation, surgery and follow-up appointments are coordinated around your medical needs and travel arrangements.

REAL PATIENT RESULT
A Better Contour Comes With a Scar Trade-Off

An arm lift can change hanging skin and the outline of the upper arm, but it cannot provide a scar-free result. Use photographs to discuss realistic contour changes and ask your surgeon where your own incision would be placed.

Individual results vary.

PLANNING YOUR RECOVERY

Check Your Suitability

Individual results and recovery times vary.

AFTER ARM LIFT SURGERY

Recovery Is a Gradual Process

Swelling, bruising, discomfort and temporary changes in sensation can occur. Your surgeon may recommend dressings, compression or drains and will explain how to care for them. Do not remove or change these without following the instructions provided.

Return to work, driving, exercise and lifting depends on your healing and the extent of surgery. Increase activity gradually with your surgeon’s guidance. Seek medical advice promptly for worsening pain, redness, fever or unexpected wound changes; chest pain or shortness of breath requires urgent assessment.

LONG-TERM CONTOUR & SCAR CARE

Allow Time for Your Result to Settle

Early swelling can obscure the final contour. Scars are permanent and change as healing progresses; their appearance varies between patients. Follow the scar-care plan prescribed for your wounds rather than applying products to unhealed incisions.

Maintaining a stable weight helps preserve the contour, although ageing and later weight changes can affect the arms. Keep your follow-up appointments and discuss persistent discomfort, swelling or concerns about your scars.

INFORMED DECISION

Discuss the Benefits and Risks Before Deciding

Possible complications include bleeding, infection, fluid collection, poor wound healing, troublesome scars, altered sensation, injury to deeper structures, persistent pain and anaesthesia-related problems. Further surgery may be needed. Your surgeon explains your personal risks and alternatives before consent.

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

Frequently Asked Questions

What is the difference between an arm lift and arm liposuction?

Liposuction targets fat. An arm lift removes excess skin and may also address fat. If hanging skin is your main concern, fat removal alone may not provide the change you want.

Will I have a long scar?

A permanent scar is expected. Its length and location depend on the amount and distribution of loose skin. Ask to see the proposed incision on your own arms before agreeing to treatment.

Can an arm lift be combined with liposuction?

Sometimes. Your surgeon decides whether combining fat reduction with skin removal is appropriate. The additional treatment areas and costs should be clearly included in your quotation.

Am I a suitable candidate after weight loss?

Possibly, if persistent excess arm skin concerns you. Suitability depends on stable weight, overall health, healing risks and realistic expectations. Your surgeon assesses these before recommending surgery.

When can I exercise or lift heavy objects?

There is no single timetable for every patient. Arm movement, lifting and exercise must be progressed according to your wounds and your surgeon’s instructions. Plan help with luggage and strenuous tasks.

How long will I stay in hospital and at the hotel?

The planned package includes one hospital night and five hotel nights. The medical team can extend observation or change the travel plan when your recovery requires it.

How much does an arm lift in Turkey cost?

Your quotation depends on the extent of skin removal, any combined liposuction and the agreed package. Send photographs and medical information for an initial review; the final plan is confirmed after clinical examination.
