Chin surgery can enhance a small or recessed chin using an implant, or alter its position and dimensions through bone surgery. In sliding genioplasty, a section of the chin bone is repositioned and secured. Implant-based augmentation adds contour over the existing bone. Allow Time for Your Result to Settle

Genioplasty Recovery and Aftercare
Swelling, bruising, discomfort and changes in sensation can occur. Follow your surgeon’s instructions on wound care, food, sleeping position and activity. Protect the chin from pressure and accidental knocks, and ask when you may return to work, exercise and travel.
Recovery continues after you leave Istanbul. Keep the agreed follow-up contact details and seek prompt medical advice for increasing pain, fever, wound discharge or rapidly worsening swelling. Breathing difficulty requires emergency care.
Genioplasty Risks and Long-Term Considerations
